Tips for applying

  • Read advertisements carefully, if you meet at least 80% of the requirements, you have a good chance of success.
  • First impressions count and an up-to-date, professional application photo is important.
  • A short, clearly structured CV on 2 pages increases your chances of success; watch out for spelling mistakes.
  • Make sure you have an up-to-date, complete and meaningful profile on LinkedIn.
  • Ask questions and prepare for the interview.
  • Dress for the interview as if it were your first day at work.
  • In the interview, answer openly, respond to questions without digressing too much and justify your skills with past successes and competencies.
  • Remain yourself and natural, you may be able to pretend in the interview, but this will be difficult in the everyday life of a new job.
  • Who are your references? What will they say about you?
  • If the application process takes longer, there may be various reasons for this. Give us a call or send us a short e-mail and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
  • If an advertisement has been online for some time, the position has not yet been filled. Your application or a phone call always has a chance.

The application process

  • Send us an online application with your CV, references and diplomas. The data will be encrypted and transmitted securely. You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt.
  • We call candidates who meet the requirements very well and invite them to an initial online interview with EVOJOB. Candidates who clearly do not meet the requirements will receive a rejection email. All other applicants need a little more patience.
  • The first structured online interview with EVOJOB usually takes about 1 hour. We want to get to know you and ask questions about your career, skills, behavior and motivation. We are also happy to answer your questions about the position.
  • The second interview is with the client with the aim of getting to know each other and usually lasts 1-2 hours.
  • In the next step, we create INSIGHTS MDI® personality profiles and discuss them with candidates and clients and obtain references.
  • The second interview is often also a taster day, where you meet other employees, see the workplace and can clarify any final questions.
  • The final step is contract negotiation.
  • We support our candidates in the decision-making process and in the start-up phase with their new employer.
